EBSCO A-Z list search shows "An error has occurred".

UPDATE - issue has been resolved

Try searching directly at http://atoz.ebsco.com/Titles/1269.

If this works for you then try searching the search boxes again.

Also, try clearing your browser cookies.

A help desk call with the provider has been opened to investigate the error.

EDS Search Box on Library Homepage


8/4/2014 -- The issue with the search box has been resolved. It is now available from the library home page.

7/28/2014 3:09 pm - We have had to remove the search box for now. We are working with EBSCO to resolve the issue. 

The EDS Search Box on Library Homepage is not working off-campus. Please use the following URL to access the library's Discovery Service.


We hope to have this resolved by Monday 7/28/2014.

This blog will be updated as soon as we have more information.

Full-text articles in EBSCOhost are unavailable

UPDATE: Full-text articles are now available via EBSCOhost Databases -- 7/2/14 9:41 am

Full-text articles through our EBSCOhost databases are currently unavailable.

The databases are all still searchable, however, when requesting full-text you end up in a loop and are unable to retrieve the article.

EBSCOhost has been contacted and they were able to duplicate the problem. They are hopeful that a resolution will be in place in the next 24 hours.

This post will be updated with more information as it becomes available.

IILLiad Article Request System Maintenance 5/20/2014

Hello WesternU Community,

This Friday during the IT Monthly Maintenance there will be additional maintenance for the ILLiad Article Request System. The additional work on the system should not exceed the normal 8PM PST finish time for the IT Monthly Maintenance.

The library's E-Journal search box and A-Z list is currently unavailable from the library webpage. We are working with the IT department to resolve the issue.

Pomona Power Outage

Hello WesternU Community,

Due to a power outage in Pomona affecting the west end of campus, it is likely that Library Services will be offline from one to four hours. This includes all Electronic Resources, Article requests, online holds, online renewals and check out services.
