Catalog 'My Account' Unavailable - November 19

When: Tuesday, November 19, 2024 between 9 pm - 11 pm PT

What: SirsiDynix is completing system maintenance that will affect the library catalog.

Impact: You will not be able to place holds or renew items through the ‘My Account’ feature.

The Electronic Resources webpage and the Discovery Service search box on the library website will be available.

Discovery Search Box and Most EBSCO Databases Down


UPDATE: The discovery search box and databases are working again. 11/19/24 9:41 am

The Discovery search box on the library's homepage is not working. The problem is also affecting most of the EBSCO databases:

  • Academic Search Elite
  • Alt Health Watch
  • Business Source Elite
  • CINAHL
  • EBSCO eBooks
  • Health Source: Consumer Edition
  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
  • Newspaper Source
  • Regional Business News

The resources not affected are:

  • DynaMed
  • PsycInfo
  • eJournals search
EBSCO is aware of the problem and is working on it. We will update this blog with any updates.

Discovery Search box down

UPDATE: The discovery search box is working again. 11/15/24 12:33pm 

Our discovery search box on the library home page is currently down, except for the eJournals search. All other search options go to a 404 error page. We are working to get it back up. You can still search our databases directly. We will update this blog when it is fixed.

Proxy outage


UPDATE: The proxy server is back up. 10/29/24 2:29 PM

We have lost access to our Proxy Server due to an issue at the Pomona Campus. This means that all of our Electronic Resources are not able to be access remotely until the problem is fixed.  Technical Support is working on the issue and we will update this blog when access is restored.

Catalog Maintenance - November 11

When: Monday, November 11, 2024 - 1 am to 2 am PT

What: SirsiDynix is completing server maintenance that will affect the library catalog.

Impact: The catalog will be completely down. You will not be able to search or use any of the ‘My Account’ features like placing holds or renewing items.

The Electronic Resources webpage and the Discovery Service search box on the library website will be available.

Treadmill desk not working

UPDATE: The treadmill desk is working again and the study room can be booked. 9/20/24 10:51 AM

The treadmill desk located in study room 304 is not working and will need to be serviced. The room has been blocked off until it has been repaired. We will update this blog when it is fixed.

ILLiad Maintenance - 9/13 to 9/14

When: Friday, Sept. 13 at 9 pm to Saturday, Sept.14 at 9 am PT.

What: OCLC is completing server maintenance that might affect ILLiad, the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery website.

Impact: The website will be available but may intermittently go down. If you encounter issues, please try again.
