ScienceDirect & Embase outage Saturday, August 1

On Saturday, August 1, access to Elsevier platforms, including ScienceDirect and Embase, will be unavailable due to a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4.5 hours starting at 03:00 pm.

Library Closure Friday, June 12th

This is a reminder that on Friday, June 12, 2015,  the Library building will be closed all day to participate in our annual staff development and team building retreat.  Books that are due on June 12 may be returned on Saturday, June 13 and will not incur a fine.

Article Request System Unexpected Outage

Hello WesternU Community,

We are currently experiencing an unexpected issue with the ILLiad Article Request service. While we are working to resolve the issue, there is currently no estimate of when the system will be functional again. We will update via the Outages and Updates blog as more information becomes available.

Limited full-text access to The Physician and Sportsmedicine and Postgraduate Medicine

We have limited full-text access to The Physician and Sportsmedicine and Postgraduate Medicine.

Currently we are only able to access articles from 2014 using the current provider platform Informa Healthcare. We have access to back issues through 2014 using the previous providers platform. We do not have 2015 access on either platform. We have contacted the publisher to help resolve this issue.

We will update this blog when complete access has returned.
