AnatomyTV - 3D Dentistry & Podiatric Medicine

Update- 3D Dentistry should be working again.  Supported browser are Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.  Podiatric Medicine will open once with no problems.  If you close the window and want to go back in, you will need to clear your browser history and cookies.  You can also access both 3D Dentistry and Podiatric Medicine via the main AnatomyTV link.  3D Dentistry is in the Clinical Specialties section and Podiatric Medicine is in Other Products. -10/5/18

The AnatomyTV - 3D Dentistry & Podiatric Medicine databases are not working.  The Podiatric Medicine database will open the first time you click on it.  If you close the window you will have to clear your history to open the program again.  The 3D Dentistry database gets stuck on the Unity web player download page.  We have contacted the vendor and will update this blog when the problem is resolved.

ILLiad is down

UPDATE - access has been restored - 9/25/18 3:56pm

The  Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery service (ILLiad)  (https://westernu.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html) is down. Users will not be able to login to submit requests at this time. We will update this blog when more information is available. 

ScienceDirect eBooks off-campus

UPDATE - The problem has been fixed and all table of contents should be displaying correctly. 9/27/18

The table of contents are not displaying on our ScienceDirect ebooks when accessing them from off-campus.  The "search in this book" feature can be used to find content within the ebooks.  The vendor has been contacted and we will update this blog when the problem has been fixed.

Visible Body- Human Anatomy Atlas

UPDATE - The browser version of Visible Body is working off campus however it is very slow and can take up to 10 minutes to load. We are continuing to work with the vendor. 9/25/2018

The desktop version of Visible Body- Human Anatomy Atlas is not working off-campus.  It can still be access on campus.  The link to download the app is not affected.  We will update this blog when the problem is resolved.

EBSCO will be performing scheduled maintenance on 9/13/18 from 5-11am.  They do not anticipate any impact to customers, but there may be brief interruptions or slowness during this time. Affected resources are:

eJournal Search

UPDATE - the eJournal search has been fixed- 8/24/18 7:37am

Our eJournal search tab on the library homepage and the search box on the Electronic Resources page is not working.  The vendor is aware of the problem and is currently working on it.  This problem does not effect any of our databases or the other search tabs on the library homepage.  We will update this blog when the problem is resolved.

Cochrane Library saved searches

Cochrane Library is launching a new redesigned site on Tuesday, August 7th.  They will be transferring customers' existing saved searches to the new site from 5:00pm, Sunday, August 5th to 4:59pm, Tuesday, August 7th.  They strongly recommend not using the saved search function during this time period.  If you have any problems with saved searches after this time period, please contact them at cs-cochrane@wiley.com.
