Anatomy.TV - 3D Dentistry

UPDATE - We have updated to the latest version of Anatomy.tv, which uses HTML5.  This has fixed the problem with the 3D Dentistry module.  5/29/20 11:26 am

Anatomy.TV - 3D Dentistry is asking you to install a plug-in called Unity Web Player in order to work.  This plug-in is no longer being supported and may be blocked by your normal computer security settings.  If you want to bypass those settings to download the plug-in, it is at your own risk.  An alternative to Anatomy.TV - 3D Dentistry is Visible Body.  In Visible Body, go to the Views tab, click on Microanatomy and then scroll down to select Dental Anatomy. You can also download Visible Body on a tablet.  Here are the download instructions.

If there are any changes with the Anatomy.TV - 3D Dentistry program, we will post them here.

Quintessence Journals Down

UPDATE - Access has been restored to all journals. 9/4/2019 8:50 am

Our Quintessence journals are currently down.  The publisher is aware of the problem and are working to restore access.  We have the following journals via Quintessence:

Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine

We have lost access to the Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. The provider has been contacted and we are working to get access restored.  We will update this blog when we receive more information.

Journal of Dental Hygiene

UPDATE - Access has been restored. 8/13/2019 1:09 pm

We have lost access to the last year of Journal of Dental Hygiene. We currently only have access from 2004 to June 2018. The publisher has been contacted and we will update this blog when access is restored.

DynaMed Plus System Maintenance

EBSCO will be performing system maintenance on DynaMed Plus on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 2:00 am to 6:00 am. Users may experience interruptions or slowness during this time.

EndNote for Mac Users

This fall Apple is releasing their new operating system, Catalina (macOS 10.15). With this update, they will no longer be supporting 32-bit applications, which effects EndNote.

If you already have EndNote X9 installed, please make sure you install all available updates by going to the EndNote Help menu and selecting Check for Updates. This will allow you to continue using EndNote with the new macOS.

If you are still running EndNote X8, and do not want to upgrade to X9, you can still use it as long as you do not upgrade your OS to Catalina.
