Notice of Server Maintenance for AccessMedicine

We want to inform you of scheduled downtime that AccessMedicine will experience on April 11th during a migration to new, upgraded servers. The migration is scheduled to start at 9pm Pacific Time.

Due to this upgrade, AccessMedicine will be unavailable, possibly for up to 2 hours. They do not expect the process to exceed 2 hours. People who visit the site during this time will be presented with a page alerting them that the site is undergoing scheduled maintenance and to check back soon.

One of our electronic resource providers, EBSCOhost, is currently experiencing a website outage. This effects the following databases;

EBSCOhost is working to resolve the issue ASAP

March 21st Network outage, Pomona Campus, Library building

IT will be doing some network cable maintenance on Wednesday, March 21st 6 pm-8 pm. The network in the entire Library building will be down during these two hours. This means any application that relies on the network (email, Internet, network printers) will be unavailable during this time.

Possible ScienceDirect Outage

Elsevier is planning a set of upgrades this weekend, March 17-18 2012. There may be temporary service disruptions to ScienceDirect between 5:30AM PDT-6:30PM PDT, Saturday, March 17th 2012.
