WesternU Network Maintenance

Below is an email from WesternU Technical Support regarding a network outage 7/9/12 beginning at 6pm. The proxy server may be effected which would prevent access to the electronic resources during the downtime.

"Hello WesternU Faculty, Staff, and Students,

Tonight at 6:00 PM our network team will be performing maintenance on our networking equipment.  We may experience internet connectivity loss for brief periods of time during this maintenance. Services are expected to be fully restored within 1 hour.  During this time frame you may experience interruptions in internet connectivity lasting about 5 minutes in duration.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. If you experience any issues post-maintenance window, please report them to TechSupport.

MDConsult is currently unavailable. The vendor has been contacted and we are trying to have our access restored ASAP.

On Wednesday June 27th the Univeristy Online Catalog WUCat will be unavailable from 6am to 11am for the final part of our system upgrade.
During this time catalog searches, holds and renews will be unavailable. 

Electronic Resources will still be available.

Wiley Online Library

Wiley Online Library will be disrupted on 26 May from 2:00am-4:00am PDT for essential maintenance.

R2 Digital Library Server Maintenance

Hello Western U Community,

Beginning tomorrow May 4th at 11pm EST (8pm PST) R2 Digital Library will be unavailable for use. 

The maintenance outage from Rittenhouse is expected to end at 6am EST (3am PST) at which time the R2 Digital Library will again be online.

As the outage may be extended by Rittenhouse without notice, please hold all issues relating to the R2 Digital Library until after 8am PST.
