Brief EZproxy downtime 6/8/2017

The EZproxy server will be rebooted on 6/8/2017 between the hours of 7am and 7:30am. This will result in approximately 10 minutes of downtime.

Neurosurgery eJournal

Due to a change in publisher, we will be losing access to the ejournal Neurosurgery beginning on July 1, 2017.  After that date, users can use ILLiad to submit an article request.

Journal of Dental Education

UPDATE- access has been restored 5/9/17 11:44am

Our access to the Journal of Dental Education is currently down. We also have a print subscription to this title, so requests for articles can be sent via ILLiad.

We are working with the publisher to restore access and will update this blog when it has been restored.

E-Journal Search

Journal Cancellations 2017

During times of low budgets and journal price increases, the library needs to evaluate usage to journal titles to see if they are still cost effective.

The list of 15 journal titles below have been cancelled for 2017 due to consistently low usage.

This move allowed us to save enough money so no further journal cancellations were necessary in 2017.

Nature journals

UPDATE - access has been restored 10/28/16 11:30am

We have lost access to all of our Nature journals except Nature and Nature Neuroscience. The publisher has been contacted and we will update this blog when access is restored.

UpToDate license agreement pop-up
