Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy not working

UPDATE: Access to Acland's has been restored. 11/22/22 7:13 am

Acland's Video Atlas of Human Anatomy is not working right now. When you click on the resource you will see this reCAPTCHA error:

When you try to click on the "Take me to my Content" button you will see this error:

WORKAROUND: 

To temporarily bypass this error, you can create a personal account on another LWW product and then log in to Acland's directly.  Here are the steps to follow:

1. Log on to LWW Health Library- https://proxy.westernu.edu/login?url=https://lwwhealthlibrary.com
2. Use the drop-down menu next to Western University of Health Sciences and click Create a Free Personal Account
3. Once created, go to https://aclandanatomy.com
4. You should now be able to check the box next to reCAPTCHA and click on Take me to my Content
5. On the Acland's page, click on the Sign In link on the top right and sign in with the username and password you just created.  You should now be able to access all the content.

We have contacted the provider and are awaiting a response. We will update this blog when the problem is fixed.

Online Catalog Downtime – November 3rd

When: Thursday, November 3, 2022 - 2:00 am to 3:00 am PDT

What: The Online Catalog account feature will not be available due to scheduled maintenance.

Air Conditioning Unit out in the Pumerantz Learning Center

Update: The Air Conditioning unit is functioning and is slowly cooling down the PLC. The PLC will reopen on Wednesday, August 31st.

A breaker has failed on the main air conditioner in the Pumerantz Learning Center (PLC). The closest breaker in the size that is needed is in Texas. The replacement part is being shipped overnight.

The Online Catalog will be unavailable on Thursday, Aug 18 starting at 8:59 pm PT for about 3 hours due to scheduled maintenance. 

During this time, you will not be able to use the catalog (log in to your catalog account, place holds, renew items, etc.)

You will still be able to access Electronic Resources and use the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) Search Box on the library website to search for electronic material. 

5MinuteConsult PT videos down off campus

UPDATE: Access to the PT videos has been restored. 9/7/22 3:04 pm

The PT Exercises videos in 5MinuteConsult are not loading off campus.  We are working with the vendor to get them fixed.  We will update this blog when the problem is resolved.
